These AMBS alumni and faculty members are scheduled to present at Mennonite Church Canada’s Gathering 2025, to be held July 2–5 in Kitchener, Ontario.

Gilha Lee, PhD candidate, of Atlanta, Georgia, will join the AMBS Teaching Faculty on July 1.

The April 30 event highlighted AMBS faculty, staff and student publications and presentations from the 2024–25 academic year, as well as publications of IMS.

AMBS employees gathered on May 8 to recognize employment milestones for six Administrative Faculty, Teaching Faculty and Professional Staff.

During AMBS’s May 3 Commencement Service, Valerie Rempel, PhD, Director of Accreditation for The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, gave the Class of 2025 counsel for navigating challenging seasons of ministry.

AMBS was a co-sponsor of the 2025 Catholic Social Tradition Conference, “Signs of the Times: Interdisciplinary Responses to Religious Nationalism,” which was held March 20–22 at the University of Notre Dame.

The AMBS Board of Directors has appointed Sung Hyun Lee, PhD, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, as Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Psychology, beginning July 1, 2025. 

Valerie Rempel, PhD, Director of Accreditation for the Association of Theological Schools, will bring the commencement address.
