Remembering Shirley Sprunger King

We join many in grieving the passing of Shirley Sprunger King, who played organ at numerous AMBS events. Shirley was actively planning a Mary K. Oyer Tribute Organ Recital and Hymn Sing to take place at AMBS on Sunday, Sept. 15. That event is now canceled.

Shirley’s memorial service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana, with visitation at the church on Friday, Sept. 13, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Her obituary is available online.

We thank God for Shirley’s life, for her generous sharing of her gifts with AMBS, and for her enduring impact on many other communities.
