Fisher joins AMBS as Executive Assistant

ELKHART, Indiana (Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary) — Triest R. Fisher, MA, of Elkhart, Indiana, began Dec. 1, 2025, as Executive Assistant for the President and Vice President and Academic Dean of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) in Elkhart, Indiana.
In this key executive-level position, she supports and extends the work of the President and Vice President and Academic Dean through administrative coordination, strategic alignment and institutional representation.
Fisher brings more than 15 years of administrative experience and a strong foundation in organizational management to her new role — having served in higher education, legal offices, student affairs, and executive-level support roles. Prior to joining AMBS, she served three academic departments of Goshen (Indiana) College: Business, Communications and Theater (2023–25). She also taught history and biblical studies to high-school students at Elkhart Christian Academy in 2023 and served as a team leader at Daimler Chrysler (d.b.a. Lotus Kokomo Transmission Plant) in Kokomo, Indiana (1999–2007).

She demonstrates initiative in solving problems and improving systems and shows genuine care for students and employees.”
“We were also drawn to her efficiency, professionalism, calm composure and collaborative nature,” he continued. “She is well prepared to manage the calendars, communications, board governance processes, accreditation support, event coordination and confidential records required in the role.”
Boshart also affirmed Fisher’s perseverance, commitment to growth, and deep respect for faith-based education and service, noting her alignment with AMBS’s mission and core values.
Fisher holds a Master of Arts in Ministry from Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana (2021); a Bachelor of Arts in History from Augusta (Georgia) University (2017); and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Indiana University Kokomo (2004). She also completed coursework in mediation training at Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. She’s a former member of the Indiana Paralegal Association and a lifelong member of the Dress for Success Michiana Professional Women’s Group. She attends First Baptist Church in Elkhart.
