About Morgan
Morgan Koehler of Freeman, South Dakota, joined the Marketing and Communications Team in July 2023 as Digital Marketing Manager. She was promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications in January 2026.
As a nonprofit marketing and fundraising professional for more than 13 years, Morgan has served in industries such as senior care, crisis center mission, healthcare and education. She was a featured speaker at the Leading Age of Illinois Assisted Living Training Conference in Springfield, Illinois, and the Leading Age Annual Convention in Chicago.
Morgan serves as a board member for the South Dakota Mennonite Relief Sale and for Friends of the Freeman Library. A talented vocalist, she has toured Europe as a student and alumna with Bradley University choirs. She has also performed as a soloist and member of several choirs in Central Illinois.
Morgan had the honor of participating as a band member in leading worship at the 2025 Mennonite Church USA convention in Greensboro, North Carolina. Currently, she sings with the Swiss Choral Society in Freeman. She attends Hutterthal Mennonite Church in Freeman, where her husband is pastor.
