Our endowment forms a financial foundation which supports everything that goes on at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. AMBS relies on endowment earnings for annual revenue.
In order to continue serving the church and educating Christian leaders, we must continue to add to our endowment to carry our mission into a secure future without raising tuition for our students.
Be a part of the present and future of AMBS
Approximately 30% of our annual revenue comes from endowment investment earnings. Adding to this foundation will allow AMBS to fulfill its mission in a secure future.
Why an endowment matters
Gifts given to the general endowment will help to sustain AMBS long after you have made your final annual Leadership Education Fund gift. By giving a planned gift to a non-scholarship endowment, a donor can continue to support the sustainability of AMBS for generations.

Options to give now
Give from income
Commit to making monthly, quarterly, or annual gifts to an existing fund—or establish a new named fund—over a five-year period.
Give appreciated securities or real estate
Transfer stock, mutual funds or real property to AMBS, designated for a new or existing fund.
Give from your IRA, DAF, or RRSP/RRIF
Simplify your giving while gaining income or charitable tax benefits.
Options to give later
You can make arrangements for your final gift to AMBS to be designated for the endowment fund.
Make a bequest
The easiest way to make a final gift is to make a bequest in your will.
Designate AMBS as a beneficiary
Designate from your life insurance policy, retirement plan, living trust or donor-advised fund.
Consult your financial adviser or attorney to explore additional options such as gift annuities or charitable remainder and lead trusts.
