Using the Mennonite Church Advent 2008 theme, “Let your face shine!”, the event explores creative ways to glimpse the mystery of God and experience God’s fullness through scripture presentations, children’s time, congregational prayer, music and visuals. Take our moments and our days

This daylong workshop will introduce the two-volume Anabaptist prayer book and explore ways to use it in congregational life. We will hear from groups that have prayed these prayers (bring your stories!) and will practice adapting services for various settings, including youth groups, groups for whom literacy is a barrier, and multicultural groups. Led by Eleanor Kreider, John Rempel, Barbara Nelson Gingerich, and Mary Schertz.
