Interlibrary Loan: Online Requests

Interlibrary Loan services are provided only to AMBS students and faculty.

For a journal article or book chapter,  when a photocopy is desired.

Complete this form. 

For books and audiovisual items:

Create an account in WorldCat, the catalog of materials in libraries around the world.

Select "My Account" in the upper right hand corner and then "New User Registration".

Include all address information even that which is not required.
In the future, login to "My Account" before searching for items to request.

Seach WorldCat for the desired book.

Display the full record.
In the upper left corner, select the ILL icon.

On the Interlibrary Loan Request Form check the information.

Enter the "Not Needed After" date
Change status in the drop-down box as needed.
Community borrowers do not have ILL privileges.  Check with your local public library.
[Submit]

The AMBS Librarian will review your ILL request online and send it on to the library.  You will be contacted directly if there are any problems.
