Certificate in Christian Spiritual Formation

For bivocational pastors, congregational leaders

This certificate develops gifts and skills of leaders with responsibility for nurturing Christian spiritual formation in the activities, practices, and programs of congregational life.There is some freedom to devise some aspects of a certificate course of study in consultation with the Certificate Program adviser.

• Christian Formation in the Congregation
• Spiritual Guidance Practicum

Recommended courses

• Spiritual disciplines seminar (combination of the following: Prayer; Journaling; Scripture; Family spirituality)
• Christian spirituality and peacemaking
• General electives
